Vacation Home Rental: Coastal Bathroom Ambience

There are many interior design projects you can do for your holiday home to make it more appealing and relaxing. And of these is making your bathroom coastal themed.

Creating a coastal bathroom is a simple and easy project if you start in a few key places. These ideas should help you create a coastal bathroom décor for your vacation home rental in about five steps and on a serious budget! These are all great beach themed bathroom ideas where you live near the coat or not!
Wall Color
So, wall color is one of the quickest ways to transform a plain bathroom into a coastal bathroom for $20 and in one day. When choosing a good coastal paint color think of colors you see at the beach. Sandy browns; gray blues, and even creamy whites are all great choices. Laura Ashley Paint makes a color for Lowe's named Sand and it is a perfect color for a coastal or beach themed bathroom.

Paint the Trim
So, majority of vacation homes on the coast has fresh crisp white trim. You can add some crown molding to a plain bathroom with none in minutes. You can also freshen up existing molding to get a crisp white coastal bathroom look in minutes with some fresh bright white paint.

Add Some Coastal Bathroom Décor with Accessories
Sea shells and sand are one of the quickest way to immediately make any bathroom have a beach theme. You can use existing clear glass bowls, glasses, vases, and platters for this one.

Simply pour in some sand. Spread the sand out if you are using a platter. Now, add these shells! Real or fake. You can find great reproduction sea shells at the local craft store all the time!

While on the topic of fake sea shells, go ahead and plug in that glue gun. You can start adding rows of sea shells to the outside edge of your existing plain bathroom mirror to make a sea shell framed mirror. This is a quick and easy way to establish a coastal bathroom décor.

Add Tropical Plants
You can find great tropical plants at your local grocery store for less than $10. Paint some flower pots a nice crisp white and slip your inexpensive tropical plants in. Create a display of three tropical plants and you can not only create a coastal bathroom feel, but also freshen up your existing bathroom.
You can also use silk tropical plants and flowers if your bathroom does not have a window.

Add a Ceiling Fan
Many coastal bathrooms have a ceiling fan to keep them fresh and cool. If you are lucky enough to have room for a ceiling fan in your bathroom, then go for it. You often see super affordable ceiling fans with a beach theme at my local Lowe's.

Making your vacation home rental as refreshing as possible is one of the factors why people will choose your property over others. It does not only makes your property standout but it will give your guests a very relaxing feeling especially if your property is near at the beach.
